Not much

Not much is going on here. A lot of non radio issues. I made only 3 qso last week. I saw this very nice low profile video by NG9D, so I wanted to share this with you. Very nice, isn't it?

Many thanks for showing this video….Kinda nice to see a simple rig that doesn’t have a control panel similar to the space shuttle…Hi. once again thanks and 73. HO

Awesome! Only 1 watt all that distance! QRP never ceases to amaze me. A good antenna makes all the difference! What antenna was NG9D using? I do quiet well QRP using my 260 feet(79.2 meters)long doublet antenna up about 40 feet, but he was very close to QRPp with only 1 watt and likely was at times with a little fluctuation. I love to hear the chirp of a transmitter, automatically brings to mind a vintage tube rig. He was definitely doing it the old timey way having to switch the receiver on and off. Thanks a lot for sharing!
