Are you people in the business of marketing Elecraft products? Every day there is still another commercial on this blog site about the virtues of “my new Kxx” Anybody build there own or own a QRP rig that won’t excede the 5 watt limit? No solder kit? Radio Lego? Gettng close to finding another blog site that has a more diverse interest where equipment is concerned.
The contributors to AmateurRadio.com graciously allow us to carry their postings here. Every blogger here — and indeed, every ham — has their list of favored equipment. If anyone feels we’re missing some important perspective or not covering a wide enough variety of rigs, please email me if you feel you can contribute something to improve that situation.
I enjoy reading all comments, even the critical ones. But I also enjoy reading Larry’s posts even though I neither own an Elecraft rig nor operate QRP.
Your excitement is contagious. I will be selling my beloved Yaesu FT-1000MP (any takers?) and a few others in my vast collection to fund my new Elecraft radio. Thanks for the posts keeping us abreast of the progress, I truly expected to see some negatives in regard to this new radio, but none have been forthcomming, apparently. Keep up the good work, I enjoy your posts! Have a great day.

Hey Craig ……
Sorry that my excitement for my forthcoming KX3 has got you a bit perturbed. There is a real simple answer to your dilemma, however.
Start your own blog and discuss the interests that are to YOUR liking.
Blogspot.com and WordPress.com are both free and make it super simple.
It’s not hard at all; and then perhaps you will attract birds more akin to your feather. There always room for more!
Best wishes and happy blogging!

Bill,
Lest I forget – thanks for the kind words. They’re always appreciated!

Right on Craig!
Well Craig and Pete,
I’d suggest when you see my blog over the next few weeks to just “walk on by”. Cuz once my kit is delivered, I will be posting about the build.
Just wanted to prep you both so you can get your pre-order of Pepto Bismol in.
