This is truly difficult.
This is the most difficult blog post that I have ever made.
It is with a heavy and broken heart that I have to announce that my Mom, Doris Makoski, passed away tonight. She was 83 and died due to complications from cancer. Thankfully, she passed peacefully in her sleep with my sister and my brother-in-law and me at her bedside.
My mom is the person most responsible for who and what I am. She taught me a lot and always told me to never be afraid to do the things that I wanted to do.
While I am happy that she is no longer suffering and in pain; and that she’s gone on to the reward that she so richly deserves, I cannot describe to you the loss and void that I am feeling right now.
If you would remember her in your prayers, it would be appreciated.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
We lost mom in February. I did get to tell her that I had finally become a Ham, which made her smile. It was her oldest brother that tried to get me into it when I was kid. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. The good memories you have will be with you forever.
I am so very sorry for your loss Larry. She sounds like she was a great lady. Thinking of you & yours during this difficult time.
Oh, I am so sorry. Its a hard loss to go through. I unexpectedly lost my mother in 06 and its still hard at times. However, good memories still remain and after a while its easier to deal with them and its comforting and like she’s still with you. Sometimes when you need it most. I think its just that mom superpower or something. My heart goes out to you and your family and have you and them in my thoughts. 73
I’m so sorry, Larry. I lost my mom in 2000 after 20 years with cancer. Even knowing it was coming didn’t make things any easier. There is just no one who can replace your mother. My heart goes out to you. Take care and 73.

May your mother now rest in peace with our Lord. I will pray that God comforts you and your family in this difficult time.
Larry, my mother’s death, although expected, was the most devastating thing I ever had to bear. After almost three years, it is still painfull. I will keep her in my prayers, and also pray for you, too. My sincere condolences upon your loss.

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss, Larry. It does get easier and the happy memories replace the more difficult ones you probably have right now.
Thinking of you and your family – and of course, your Mom.
