Stealthy Roof Mast

Colorado DXer and YouTuber, John Bellini, has been at it again.

This time it's his stealthy mast to support some small VHF utility antennas. If you're interested in a simple stealthy mast for the roof-top, you may find some worthwhile hints here. His system would make a very nice stealthy support for a PAØRDT mini-whip which would put your antenna well above the house and its associated noise fields ... have a look.

    Hi Steve,

I just watched your video and would like to compliment you on the quality of your presentation, a very professional result.

I was wondering where you sourced the mounting bracket for the mast, not sure I have seen one like it in Australia, is it a standard tv mast fitting?

Once again, great work and well produced with excellent audio.

    kind regards

    Howard VK3QA

Howard, Google, image, joist hangers. There are hundreds in every frame house in Australia. Go to your local building supply store and you can pick one up for under a buck.
