My Elecraft P3 YouTube video

I put together this somewhat short presentation on how I use the Elecraft P3 along with my K3 to help me snag contacts. As a matter of fact I believe most pan-adapters will accomplish what I am doing with the P3. Have a look see what you think and I hope it helps out with your hobby endeavors.

Thanks Mike. My K3 and P3 came this Monday and I am loving all the new features it has. This certainly helped me with my learning curve!

  • W6UX:

Fantastic! Best video demo I have seen on WHY you really want one of these!

Good afternoon Bob, yes the P3 is great but it does have a learning curve to it. I purchased “The Nifty Mini Manual” for the P3 and its a great go to booklet. If you have any questions about the P3 email me and I will do my best to help out. Thanks for stopping by the blog and taking the time to comment. Great to hear the YouTube video helped out.

Good evening Jeff (W6UX) yes it’s a a great tool and fun to use. It is a great help finding contacts during a contest and checking out a band to see if it’s open or not….just a some of the “stuff” it can do. Thanks for the comment Jeff and enjoy your weekend.

Mike- I finally built my K3 & P3, #6663. So am still learning how to use both. This video on the P3 was very helpful. Plus it really has me starting to think about getting a sub-receiver 🙂 Thanks

Good afternoon Paul, the K3 does have a learning curve and it does take time to get the hang of the potential of the radio. I would recomment Fred Cady’s book about the K3. It is very easy reading and helps understand the rig. The Sub-receiver is great but I would take time with the P3 and K3. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time so comment.
