Bob Heil offers programs for ham clubs via Skype
Bob Heil, K9EID, of Heil Sound and Ham Nation fame sent me this e-mail which may interest clubs looking to expand their educational offerings:
Of interest to all clubs in the UK or actually just about anywhere, I have been doing workshops for radio club meetings using SKYPE. This is a fantastic use of technology. The club brings in a projectoror large TV driven by a computer connected to high speed Internet and through SKYPE we communicate two way. It helps the many clubs – no matter the size to have fun, educational and entertaining programs for their meetings.Let all of your readers know that we are available to do this. Address inquiries to me, Bob Heil [email protected] or Gordon West at [email protected].
What an interesting cast of characters! Through the magic of Skype, those two are sure to make your next meeting quite memorable.
What a fantastic idea!
I can’t believe no one has come up with this simple idea before.
I shall be bringing this up at our next committee meeting-
The B.R.A.T.S, UK.
And a big thank you to Bob & friends, for donating their time & energy to the project. As Bob is involved, I’m sure it will be a night to remember!
Well done Bob & friends.
Bob,
I see you have had Joe Walsh on your show. I by the way I really like your
show. Is Mr. Walsh active in ham radio? If so what bands and Modes?
And I just got a icom 756 proIII. What would you think would be a good Mic. to run.
Thanks
Kevin Levin
