Ham Radio and the Art of Bushcraft
I am so in tune with this post! My knees hurt, my back, and everything else.
I have done a couple of SOTA activations and I always carry a chair!
This is people managing with the resources they have, which diminish as we get older. No reason to stop, just do it slower. And think of your comfort, because if its not fun, why do it?
    Good man!

  • Richard Swanson:

Chris, I know what you mean about old age and doing Ham radio in the great outdoors. I use to do this but like you my back and legs hurt at age 78. Hope to get out again and do more with my Icom IC-703. 73, Richard, K0RDS
