I am a gun owner who quit the NRA many years ago when it lost its way. It looks as if I may have to quit the ARRL for similar reasons. The leaders of both organizations seem to have forgotten, or no longer care, about serving the needs of their members.

  • KU4GW Cliff:

In reference to the article, “Director Ria Jairam recused by ARRL, and it seems political to me”, if the ARRL didn’t provide so many free scholarships up to $25,000 and give so much money away via all the grants they give away all the time perhaps their profits would be much better!

  • Goody K3NG:

Perens is spot-on with his commentary on the Ria Jairam situation.
