A fantastic FT8 guide!

If you have or are thinking of diving into the FT8 digi world I was made aware via a Dutch blogger Paul PA0K (his brand new call) of this amazing FT8 operating guide by Gary Hinson ZL2ifb. This guide is for the seasoned FT8 op, the beginner and those who are not sure if they really want to give it a go but would like to learn what it's all about. I won't to go on and on about the guide..... just read it and find out for yourselves, it's a great addition to anyone interested or operating FT8.

Thanks Mike VE3WDM for this, I want to give ft8 a try, thus will be a great help!

Thanks Mike. One of the best write ups I have seen so far. Lots of really good information. Since FT-8 has given me 9 awards so far maybe the new information will help me double it… 😉

Good morning Mike, yes I believe the guide will take a lot of the frustration out of operating the mode. It’s very clear on the setup and operation of the mode.

    Great guide!

I just wish there was an iPhone TNC modem app for operating FT8, JT65, & JT9.

That would make operating SOTA so much easier.
