I want one of these! I am going to start saving now; and as availability gets closer (end of the year?) you just might see my K1 being offered up for sale. I never thought I'd ever think that possible; but for one of these? Definitely!

They are indeed cool.. You can spend a lot of money with Elecraft.. I didn’t realize how much until Dayton this year.
I’m lusting over the Kenwood TS-590 myself. AES is doing their damnest to make me sleep on the couch for the next several weeks..

Yes, it is.
To raise enough money for a KX3 will involve selling my K1, PFR-3A and then saving up the rest. If I wasn’t married and didn’t have the mortgage and kids, it would be infinitely easier. That being said, I’d be infinitely poorer for not having my wife and kids – so all in all, I’d rather struggle for the KX3.
