The radio is solid, the documentation is almost perfect. I do not like the charging process, it is no regulating, just charg for an amout of hours that you find in the manual and that's it. It could also have had an programming software, Yaesu usualy don't. The radio have a good reciever and is easy to use, with a clear diplay.

One of the BEST HT's I have bought in many years and has many nice advanced features, an S/RF meter that really works, really easy to program without buying additional software, large amber easy to read display and extremely long battery life on 2W setting. Very well-built, feels like a real radio, and not a toy. Great Rx audio and Tx audio (after removing membrane over mic element). A superb Ht for new or "tenured" ham alike and not expensive either!
