good unit. I will be using this on my repair/test bench. The only thing I wish it had was a longer key down time for 1000+ watts. I understand why it doesn't and I knew the key down time before I got it. It will work for what I need. I would say it will work for most ham operators.

This dummy load does exacatly what it is suppose to do. It will present an 50ohm load to your radio/amp rig. Since it is a dry dummy load it does get hot and you have to follow the instructions that are provided for load and cooling times.
