Great VHF/UHF/Microwave radio. I owned one for twenty years and regretted selling it. This transceiver comes with a 1.2 GHz, 10 watt, option. It has dual band tracking for doppler correction when operating through the satellites. It's easy to use with not so steep learning curve. It does have a serial port that allows for computer controlling but this was very early technology and the control is limited. The receive sensitivity is very good on all bands and power output is adequate (45/25/10). de W6TE
Bought mine a few years back on EBay. Excellent receive and TX audio out. Use on FM and sideband. One of the best buys if you want a good performer. Easy to use without those sub-menus that need a manual in hand to use. Avoid the 1.2 gig modual as it has a lot of lose in the feed line. Go with a 2 meter/ 1.2 gig transverter at the antenna instead of in the radio. You will get much better gain with this setup. Love this rig, good luck.
