The amp is well constructed and compact; ideal for portable and mobile use. Placing a fan on top of the unit was genius! Its output was from 100w to 300w with only 1w to 5w input! It powered up using beautifully my 12v power pack, a big plus! My problem was the excessively high SWR on all bands, I could not get it down with my tuners. The instruction sheet did, in fact, advise the user of the high SWR. It is potentially a great little amp. I would have purchased another one if the SWR was able to be tuned down. I will be watching to see if the SWR problem can be solved

Amplifier only provides a good input and output impedance at 27-28Mhz. This is not designed or built to operate 3-30MHz as stated. If you're looking to purchase an illegal (in the USA) CB amplifier, it'll no doubt work just fine. Other than that, I would not purchase one. False advertising and it is a product that doesn't meet Federal FCC standards for any licensed or unlicensed use.

Advertised as a 3.8 to 30 mhz amp. Only does about 125 on ten meter using ssb. Don't buy this amp it isn't worth the money.

I was expecting something less but got more than expected. Will easily swing 150 watts on am but I could have easily got more. Fan is a little annoying but really does a great job. I wouldn't but over 4 watts into it. 3 watts is about right. Very good amp.
