Very easy to use. I like better than the other brands with troublesome roller inductors. I've had both but the Drake MN 2700 will work for years without any maitenance. Like any antenna tuner or switching device you must be careful to not "hot" switch it. To some it up I love it.

The MN-2700 covers 160-10 and I've heard some people can use it on the WARC bands too. It has some beefy components, wide matching range, and is easy to use. If you keep a log of settings, it is very fast to use. I've owned several of these and they are my go-to tuner.

The item was received in a damaged condition, the panel meter had become detached and was inside the chassis. This was fixed by gluing the meter back in position and wedging it in position with a piece if India rubber. The item when connected to a transmitter did not indicate any power throughput. This was traced to dirty switches which when cleaned with switch cleaner all worked satisfactorily. The 'READ SWR' swich knob was missing but was replaced by a suitable adapter. This item was manufactured in 1980. It is a really good piece of RF engineering and it all works well, inside looks like new.
